How to write term papers?

The content of the course work is a separate page listing the titles of chapters and paragraphs, indicating the pages where they can be found. It determines what the coursework will be about, the structure and completeness of the topic.

There are a number of rules how to write the contents of the course and arrange it.

Select the topic on which the course work will be written. If possible, take methodical recommendations in electronic or paper form. In them you can find a sample plan, the rules, how to make the content of the course work independently, a detailed description of what should be written in each chapter. Some teachers go even further and indicate what needs to be written within each section, what aspects to analyze. Some make up a work plan that is uniform for all students; in this case, the decision to write the content on one’s own will mean not allowing for protection.

After carefully reading the requirements of the guidelines on what each chapter should contain, begin the selection of material. To competently study the issue, analyze what is written in textbooks, publications, scientific manuals, monographs and dissertations. The statistical data, regulations, reports of organizations, internal documentation of enterprises will also be useful.

Course work in the discipline “Psychology” takes from 25 to 45 pages. Whatever the topic, the structure of the project is always the same: the title page, the page with the content, introduction, main part, conclusion, list of sources used.

Consider the plan based on the selected information. If you approve the content of the supervisor without analyzing the literature, then it is possible that you need to write chapters, but there is no data for this. Those students who do not have much time, we recommend to restrict the main literature on the subject.

The sample can be someone else’s term paper. We recommend to analyze a few pieces, correlate with the selected information and write a plan containing the general for all the chapters.

Another source of inspiration for writing a table of contents is a monograph or dissertation. Of course, the names of the sections there are quite complicated, but you can paraphrase them by writing in simpler words.

You can put together all the selected material, add a description of your ideas, and then break it into equal parts. Aim for harmony, that is, the same number of points in sections. Come up with a title for each part and the content is ready!

The next step is to design the content. The title is written in capital letters and stands out in bold. Font size and line spacing are exactly the same as in the rest of the course. Page numbers are indicated in the upper right corner.

The names of the main structural elements in the table of contents (vision, conclusion, application, list of references) and chapters most often need to be written in capital letters.

The text is aligned across the entire width of the page. Opposite each chapter or paragraph it is necessary to indicate the pages on which they begin in the text of the study.

The content should not have any background information, structure descriptions or detailed designations for each application that contains coursework.

We recommend to assure the finished content with the scientific supervisor. If necessary, make adjustments to the plan until the teacher is satisfied. Course work begins to be performed independently only after full approval of the latter. It will save you from rewriting entire chapters or paragraphs.
